Description
Amefahas over 90 years' expertise in tableware. The Dutch brand introduces this Carlito menagère with its contemporary, sleek curves to dress your table every day!
The Carlito menagère contains :
- 6 table forks 19.5cm
- 6 steak knives 21cm
- 6 table spoons 19.5cm
- 6 teaspoons 13.8cm
All the cutlery listed above is made from corrosion-resistant forged 18/0 steel. The monobloc system (a single piece of steel) gives this cutlery greater resistance over time. What's more, it limits microbial attack: there is no distinction between the handle and the functional part to prevent crumbs or dust from becoming lodged there.
The knives supplied with this cutlery maker are steak knives, with sharp, serrated blades. They are ideal for cutting steaks cleanly and precisely, without damaging the meat.
The finish of this cutlery is exemplary: a "mirror" aspect to bring shine and brilliance to your table, as well as elegant rounded lines. They're the perfect match for your plates and glasses, so you'll never be at a loss for taste!
To save time and ensure optimum hygiene, this cutlery is dishwasher-safe.

Its modern cutlery also offers knives that cut meat with ease. This eliminates the need for several types of knife.

Order received promptly, (in advance even!) delighted with my purchase which even contained an extra spoon. What more could you ask for?
The knives don't cut anything

I chose the steak knife version so I'd have knives that cut better than most kitchen knives, which are impossible to use for peeling fruit. Well, unfortunately, it’s the same story. Even though the serrated edge runs along a longer length, the“Carlito” knives are like pickaxes. It’s hard to cut a steak, and almost impossible to peel an apple.
If I find another all-stainless-steel cutlery set with good knives, I’d probably switch (but I didn’t find one before I bought this).
Advantage 1: The cutlery is easy to clean because it has no rough edges (which is why I wanted one-piece stainless steel).
Advantage 2: The steel looks hard and durable.
Advantage 3: I like the round handles—they feel really comfortable in my hand.
Conclusion: It’s just a shame about sharpening the knives.

The cutlery is attractive, light and doesn't take up too much space
The knife cuts well but the only fault is that the forks don't bite enough on certain foods, and the picks aren't sharp enough.
