André Verdier is a family business specializing in kitchen knives. Its workshop is located in Thiers, the capital of French cutlery. For almost 200 years, the André Verdier brand, formerly known as "La Botte Courronnée", has perpetuated the ancestral expertise of master cutlers who pass on their know-how from father to son. The cutlery combines tradition and modernity: since 2012, it has even been awarded the "Living Heritage Company" label.
This set of 3 knives lets you turn, peel and cut fruit and vegetables. It contains:
- A bird's beak knife for turning vegetables
- A serrated stylus knifefor slicing fruits/vegetables with fragile skins, such as tomatoes

These knives are made from hardened stainless steel. To reinforce their strength, the blade is heated to a very high temperature and then immediately cooled. This steel is resistant to corrosion and humidity. Blades are technically sharpened, and can easily be kept sharp with a Sharpening steel or hand sharpener.
The handles are made of beech, a lightweight wood that makes them easy to handle. They are available in 3 colors, to differentiate them at a glance and limit the risk of cross-contamination.
