André Verdier designs all its products in France, and the brand works exclusively with local companies, which these days is rare enough to be worth mentioning!
This bird's beak knife was first tested for several months by the brigade of Michelin-starred chef Anne Sophie PIC, and by the chef herself!
With its 6cm scalpel tip, it's ideal for eviscerating langoustines and gambas, or for turning small vegetables.
The Ecook collection was launched to adapt to cooks' gestures, these knives are technical, ergonomic and have a precise cut. Anne-Sophie Pic, a French chef with 3 Michelin stars, contributed all her technical know-how to the creation of these knives. The chef wanted knives that were light, easy to handle, and offered a precise cut.
The bird's beak knife blade is made of tempered stainless steel. It was heated and then cooled very quickly, to give it tenfold strength. Finally, it is professionally finished and technically sharpened to ensure incomparable cutting quality.
The handle is made of Ecoprocess-treated oak. So it's resistant to water and humidity!
This knife was designed by French designers Catherine and Bruno Lefebvre, who gave it a rustic, authentic look. They immersed themselves in the kitchen, analyzing the gestures of professional chefs to understand their needs. The hot-engraving adds considerable value to this knife. André Verdier cutlery contributes its technical know-how to the manufacturing process.
This Ecook Anne-Sophie PIC André Verdier bird's beak knife is the embodiment of French tradition and know-how, and promises to be light and easy to handle for your meticulous kitchen work!
