André Verdier is a French cutlery heritage brand. The brand designs all its products in France and uses only local companies, which is a rarity these days!
This Ecookparing knife is the result of months of trials with the brigade of Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie PIC, and with the chef herself!
With its 8cm blade, it's the all-purpose knife! It can cut fruits and vegetables, de-seed or incise. Its versatility makes it indispensable. Its special feature is its shape (hence the nameparing knife angularparing knife "). Unlike most paring knives, this one has a perfectly straight back, and the heel of the blade is much lower than the handle, making it much easier to handle.
The designers spent long days in the kitchen to understand cooks' gestures and thus create technical, ergonomic knives with a precise cut. Anne-Sophie Pic, French chef with 3 Michelin stars, contributed all her technical know-how to this collaboration. The Ecook collection offers light, easy-to-handle knives with a sharp edge.
The blade of this paring knife is made of tempered stainless steel. It has been heated and then rapidly cooled to reinforce its strength. Finally, it has been professionally finished and technically sharpened to ensure incomparable cutting quality.
The handle is made of oak, treated with Ecoprocess to resist humidity and water!
This knife was designed by French designers Catherine and Bruno Lefebvre, who gave it a rustic, authentic look. They immersed themselves in the kitchen, analyzing the gestures of professional chefs to understand their needs. The hot-engraving adds considerable value to this knife. André Verdier cutlery contributes its technical know-how to the manufacturing process.
This versatile Ecook Anne-Sophie PIC André Verdierparing knife will be your everyday ally!
