Description
This stone comes to us straight from the mountains of Arkansas. All-natural, this novaculite stone is renowned for its longevity.
It comes mounted on a wooden stand with a protective cover. Its small size makes it easy to store in a trouser pocket.
Its granulometry is equivalent to 8000-10000. Of course, since it's a natural material, it can vary, as can its appearance. This stone will therefore enable you to provide an ultra-fine polish on your blade.
As for its use, Arkansas stone should preferably be used in oil for best results. It is also possible to use it with water, but if you have started with oil, you have no choice but to continue. On the other hand, if you start with water, you can switch to oil.
We still recommend using this ultra-fine stone in oil.
