This Benchmade 560BK-1 model is equipped with a razor-sharp blade that makes all your cutting tasks easier. This formidable cutting edge is made of CPM-M4 stainless steel. This is a tool steel with excellent edge retention. With a Rockwell hardness of 62-64HRC, there's no denying that this alloy is extremely strong and robust for intensive use. However, this steel is not totally corrosion-resistant. For this reason, Benchmade has added a black cerakote coating to this alloy to improve its resistance to oxidation.
The handle, meanwhile, is made from black/grey G10 inserts. A thick red spacer has been added to this G10 material to guarantee greater handle strength. What's more, the shape of the handle has been specially designed to fit the contour of your palm. The result is a secure, comfortable grip.
The Super Freek deploys easily thanks to a visible thumb stud on the upper surface of the blade. What's more, an Axis-Lock prevents the blade from closing during use.
This knife is easy to carry: it can be slipped into a bag or clipped to the neck of a pocket thanks to a reversible clip on the handle.
