All this brings the Benchmade 940 into the modern era. This is one of Benchmade's most popular knives, designed by Warren Osborne.
Your Benchmade knife features a S30V stainless steel blade like the very first 940. This time, however, the cutting edge is combined with a G10 handle. The knife has been lightened to prevent it from getting in the way. A new look that's sure to please fans! The handle is 3D milled, a feature not often found on knives with G10 handles. As a result, the profile is well contoured for a comfortable grip.
The green spacers on the back give the whole thing a playful look. But it's not all about looks. The Osborne 940-2 knife opens very easily via thethumb stud on the exposed blade, and locks with the Axis Lock technology frequently found in Benchmade designs.
The CPM-S30V tanto stainless steel blade retains its sharpness and is highly resistant to corrosion.
And to top it all off, the knife also features a pocket clip for easy carrying.
