With an 8.2 cm blade and an incredibly light weight of 55g, this knife is not at all bulky.
The Benchmade Crater Blue pocket knife blade is made of CPM-S30V stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60HRC. Its extremely fine cutting edge makes it ideal for delicate tasks, such as peeling apples. What's more, CPM-S30V steel is corrosion-resistant and retains its sharpness for a long time. It's also easy to sharpen, so you can maintain it yourself.
Benchmade has opted for Grivory for the knife handle. This polymer is particularly robust and lightweight. To further enhance its strength, the brand has also integrated steel liners into the front of the handle.
This knife also features a slightly shorter pocket clip than other models. Less steel means a lighter knife. Ergonomic handling is very important! What's more, the knife features a reversible pocket clip that's equally suitable for left- and right-handed users.
