Since 1902, Claude Dozorme has been putting all his know-how into the design of exceptional quality folding knives. These knives are entirely manufactured in the Auvergne factory, then individually hand-finished. They offer a unique compromise between high tech and French tradition.
Le Thiers Claude Dozorme Liner Lock knives are versatile, suitable for both city dwellers and hikers. Their distinctive attributes? As flat as they are light, they are designed to hang discreetly in a shirt or trouser pocket. The pin on the back of the knife is specifically designed for this purpose, and can also be used as a money clip.
The blade is made of X50CrMoV15 stainless steel (0.50% carbon, 15% chromium and 1% molybdenum and vanadium), giving it high cutting performance and easy re-sharpening. This skilful blend also results in an impact hardness of 56-57 HRC on the Rockwell scale. The inscription "Le Thiers par Claude Dozorme: made in France" is engraved on one side of the blade.
The handle, fitted with screws in 18/10 steel (resistant to corrosion and splintering), has a carbon-like finish.
Finally, this is an easy-to-open and close model: once open, the blade is blocked by a spring. To close it again, simply press the spring. This guarantees a mechanism that's both highly secure and flexible.
