The little brother of model 5470, this Fossil Compact folding knife is slightly smaller, designed for those who are more comfortable with handles under 12cm. It also fits more easily into a pocket.

Its stylish design will make all your other knives obsolete! Imagined by Brazilian designer Flavio Ikoma, this is a knife with a prehistoric look, often compared to a T-rex! Yet inside this folding knife are state-of-the-art mechanisms, as is always the case with CRKT.

The hammered handle combines 2 materials:stainless steel and G10 fiberglass. It's the overlapping of G10 that gives it that "T-Rex" look. Hammering the blade gives you a perfect grip, so there's no risk of slipping!

This knife is equipped with the IKBS system (ball bearing system). This CRKT innovation enables fast, fluid opening. Opening is done with a flipper that acts as a finger guard once the blade is open, an ingenious idea for the survival of your fingers! In addition to the flipper, the blade also features a hole for thumb opening. The framelock locking system guarantees safety when using the knife, with the blade securely locked in place.

The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel . With a hardness of 58/60HRC, the cutting edge will be preserved for a long time. The droppoint shape of the blade makes it ideal for piercing, perforating and gutting game, for example. The tip is particularly strong.
