The CRKT DRIFTER 6450K knifehas the very essence of a good pocket knife: it's efficient, ergonomic and available at a low price! Its compact dimensions and slimline design allow you to use it as an EDC knife, for everyday cutting (packaging, cords*...).
The knife's handle measures 9.3cm and is made of G10, a composite material combining fiberglass and epoxy resin. Black in color, it is strong, durable and moisture-resistant. The patterned surface enhances its anti-slip properties, so you'll always have a firm grip.
The back of the handle features an ingenious clip so you can hang it directly from your belt or the edge of your pocket. The hole at the end of the handle lets you insert a small cord.
The drop-point blade measures approximately 7.3cm and is razor-sharp. It is made of carbon-enriched 8Cr14MoV stainless steel. Its Rockwell hardness is between 56 and 59 HRC, so it's easy to sharpen if necessary. It has a gray titanium nitride coating, making it even more resistant to corrosion.
The blade is manually extended using the small lug on the lower part of the blade. A simple thumb movement (one-handed) brings the blade into cutting position.
The blade is locked in place by the Liner Lock system : a piece of steel inside the handle acts as a spring and locks behind the extended blade. To reposition the blade inside the handle, simply release the "spring blade" with a flick of the thumb.
With the CRKT DRIFTER 6450K, you get a folding knife for everyday use, at the best possible price!
