Your other knives will quickly become obsolete with this stylish knife! The brainchild of Brazilian designer Flavio Ikoma, this prehistoric-looking knife is often compared to a T-rex! However, even though it looks as if it comes from another era, the mechanisms inside this folding knife are at the cutting edge of modernity.
The hammered handle combines stainless steel and fiberglass (also known as G10). The "T-Rex" look is made possible by G10 superimpositions. The hammered blade provides a perfect grip, so your hand won't slip! The integrated clip on the handle lets you wear it on your belt or clip it to your pocket.
This knife is equipped with a ball-bearing system, known by CRKT as the "IKBS system". This innovation enables the blade to open smoothly and quickly, without friction. To unfold the blade, you have 2 choices: open with the flipper, which acts as a finger guard once the blade is unfolded (so you don't lose a finger!); you can also open the knife with your thumb, thanks to the hole on the blade. The framelock locks the blade securely when unfolded, so there's no risk of the knife closing during use.
The 10cm blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a hardness of 58/60 HRC. The droppoint shape of the blade makes it perfect for piercing, perforating and gutting game, for example. The tip is particularly sturdy for this kind of work.
