Founded in 1768, Revol is a family-owned French company renowned for its high-quality porcelain. Revol has developed its own porcelain based on 100% natural mineral materials. This means it poses no risk to the environment or your health, as it contains no chemicals or heavy metals.

This mug is made near Lyon in the Drôme region by craftsmen with traditional know-how. Production begins with casting in a plaster mold. With their expert eye, the craftsmen estimate the setting time required, depending on the quality of the ceramic paste and the vagaries of the weather. Next comes thetrimming stage, where the craftsman delicately erases the seam left by the mold's parting line, drawing the cup's lip. Finally, theglazing stage consists of dipping the cup into the glaze, supported by the craftsman's fingertips.

The cup holds 8cl, making it ideal for espresso or hazelnut coffee. Measuring 6.5 x 6 cm, it transforms into a small, versatile kitchen utensil. Thanks to its porcelain fired at 1350°C, the cup is non-porous and oven-safe.

Its smooth enamel is highly resistant and retains neither the tastes nor the odors of food. It's a cup you can keep for the long term, as the enamel won't French fry or scratch. It also lets you prepare individual sweet and savoury dishes! For total versatility, the cup is freezer-safe down to -20°C, ideal for frosted creations!
