Description
Sublimate your kitchen with this clever Bisbell solid oak block!
The block is designed in solid oak, a warm wood full of elegance that will blend into any kitchen! Its magnetic surface is covered with soft-touch foam: this adds a modern touch to the block, as well as protecting your blades from scratches. You can store up to 8 kitchen knives of different sizes thanks to the block's front and back surfaces. The maximum length of your largest knife should not exceed 23cm.
The block is heavy and has 4 non-slip feet to ensure it doesn't slip on your worktop!
Conveniently store your knives in a jiffy (blade down) thanks to the powerful magnet contained in the block. All you need to do is reach out and grab the knife you need to cook - a real time-saver! Unlike a traditional block, here the blades are clearly visible, so you can't go wrong grabbing a knife.
This block is a decorative element as well as being practical for knife storage! The elegant, modern styling of this solid oak Bisbell block will appeal to everyone!

The magnetized block is very aesthetic with its solid wood. Pleasant to "magnetize", with one side stronger than the other.

Received very quickly with the two Yaxell knives ordered at the same time, this block weighs a good deal to prevent any untimely tipping.
A very good point for the soft coating on which you don't have to worry about scratching its beautiful damascened blades and the magnetic power which holds the knives perfectly without you having to pull on them like mad to use them.
There's room for my two chef's knives, two santokus, a paring knife and a bread knife (just what I needed)... but not much more. So if you've got 8 knives to store, you'd better plan for something bigger, unless you're talking steak knives or the like, but not kitchen knives.
Apart from this detail, I'm entirely satisfied with my purchase.

you can easily hold 6 large Japanese knives. The magnet is powerful enough and the soft coating protects your knives.

Beautiful and practical object, the magnets are powerful, you can use them to letter a lot of knives, even office knives and bird beaks, even if the edges are less magnetic than the center.

Beautiful, practical and showcases the knives well... In the end, it's too small for my taste. Still, it's a fine object, and more suited to 3 knives per side, as with 4 you really have to be careful not to clash the blades.
