Description

Maekake makes cooking an art!

If you haven't already heard of the maekake, you're going to love it! This traditional kitchen apron comes straight from Japan and dates back to the Edo era.

Handcrafted by the Japanese company Anything, it is still made using looms dating back 100 years!

This 67 x 47 cm kitchen apron is made from 100% high-quality natural cotton and features a large 260cm belt in a specific orange-red and white color. The belt is simply tied and its length is suitable for waist sizes up to 95cm.

Its indigo blue color is unmistakable, and the apron features a motif representing a kabuki character created by a great master of Japanese prints: Sharaku.

Easy to tie, it ties at the waist and cinches at the hips, so it supports your lumbar region and protects you from dirt.

Entirely hand-made, a few precautions are in order:

- Do not use bleach or fabric softener.

- Do not tumble dry.

- Do not wash in lukewarm water.

- Wash separately from whites as dye may transfer to other fabrics. May shrink slightly after washing due to the nature of the fabric.
