Easily cut all your food with the Arcos Nórdika 16cm chef knife!
Arcos is a Spanish cutlery manufacturer based in Albacete. With over 300 years' experience, it is renowned the world over. Today, Arcos employs more than 500 people, who work daily on the production of its 600 knife models. The brand devotes over 30,000m2 to the manufacture of its knives, using the latest technologies in a constant quest for quality.
The Arcos Nórdika 16cm chef's knife is made of Nitrum®stainless steel, an alloy specially developed by Arcos. Enriched with nitrogen, it gives the blade a hardness of 57HRC, making it both sharp and easy to maintain. On a daily basis, the use of a Sharpening steel is useful for sharpening your knife. Stainless steel is a material appreciated for its resistance to corrosion and impact, and is therefore suitable for everyday use. The knife is suitable for both amateur and professional use.
The 14cm blade features the Silk Edge® cutting edge, for clean, smooth cuts. This cutting edge combines innovative technology with the know-how of Arcos master cutters, giving you consistently perfect cutting quality.
The handle of this chef's knife is made of 100% natural Ovangkol wood from sustainably managed African forests. It is FSC® certified. The mission of the non-profit Forest Stewardship Council is to promote environmentally, socially and economically responsible management of the world's forest resources.
In addition to a pleasant grip, the handle prevents chafing caused by repeated, intensive use of the knife. For even more support, 3 corrosion-resistant brass rivets press the handle against the blade of the full tang knife. Ovangkol wood gives the handle an attractive brown to chocolate hue. Aesthetics combined with performance.
Arcos is even more committed to protecting the environment by offering this knife in a 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard case, reducing its use of plastic for packaging by 70%.
