Old Bear L craft knife 9cm stainless steel blade walnut handle with ferrule

The Old Bear knife (model L)features a 9cm blade in AISI 420 stainless steel, with a hardness of -+54/56 HRC on the Rockwell scale. The brand's logo is directly engraved on the blade, for added authenticity.

As this is a practical knife, the blade can be folded inside the handle, to save space and safety! The blade is secured by a hand-brushed brass ferrule. To put it simply, the ferrule is a sort of modular ring linking the blade to the handle.

To use it, simply turn it to unlock the blade so that you can move it into the cutting position, or turn it in the opposite direction once the blade is folded, to lock it into the handle (this opening/closing system has been patented by the manufacturer).

Let's move on to the handle: it measures 12cm and is made of walnut. This dark, weather-resistant wood has a unique grain that lends it elegance.

Of course, as this is a handcrafted knife, it is a unique model that may differ slightly from the other knives in the series. This adds authenticity to the knife, which is an original model, and in no way detracts from its functionality.

Finally, the knife comes in a small beige cardboard box, which contains the quality control certificate signed by the craftsman himself. A great gift for a loved one (or for yourself)!
