Revol bakes its porcelain at 1350°C. This very high temperature makes the porcelain extremely robust. The cocotte's enamel is smooth and highly resistant, so it doesn't absorb tastes or odors from food. Porcelain is also naturally non-stick, ensuring healthy cooking. Day-to-day maintenance of the cocotte is made easier by the fact that the enamel does not French fry or scratch, ensuring long-lasting durability.
The cocotte is designed to release heat gradually into the food, ensuring even cooking. The handles and body of the cocotte are made from a single piece of porcelain: a one-piece design for added strength.
