Spyderco Kapara is one of Spyderco 's top 5 folding knives. Its design was conceived by Australian cutler Alistair Phillips. Indeed, the name of this knife comes from an Australian spider with a distinctive red line on the back of its back. The red G10backspacer neatly represents the red spider concept.
Alistair Phillips designed this folding knife for multi-purpose use, such as peeling fruit and vegetables with optimum precision. Its drop-point blade, made from CPM S30V stainless steel, offers excellent cutting performance while maintaining a sharp edge. With a thickness of 2.8mm, peeling fruit and vegetable meals is child's play.
And don't worry, the blade practically opens by means of a hole patented by Spyderco. This opening system is called Thumbhole, or SpyderHole for connoisseurs.
The handle consists of a frame with stainless steel linings for optimum strength. This steel skeleton is covered with meticulously textured carbon-fiber scales for extra grip. What's more, this stainless steel is also the basis of the Compression Lock blade locking system.
Slip it into your pocket using a clip fitted to the back of the handle for access at all times.
Take the Kapara folding knife on your outdoor outings to cut and peel your vegetables!
