As its name suggests, Spydero Assist is a folding knife dedicated to rescue workers and medical assistants, thanks to its saw-like blade and blunt tip for easy cutting of seat belts, clothing and fibrous materials.
Did you know that with this pocket knife you can easily cut rope by wrapping the rope around the wave-patterned blade? In this way, the rope between handle and blade is cut as the blade is closed. In effect, it works like a scissor system.
For this Spyderco Assist yellow model, the blade is made from high-quality H1 stainless steel with a nitrogen alloy to create a corrosion-resistant steel. A circular hole at the rear of the blade ensures easy opening even when wearing gloves.
As for the handle, it's made from glass-fiber-reinforced nylon that's extremely strong and impervious to torsion. You'll be amazed at how ergonomic and comfortable this knife is, thanks to the non-slip texture covering the FRN.
In addition, it features an emergency whistle in case of need, and a practical folding glass breaker for all tricky situations. The knife also features a rock-solid Back Lock system.
A pocket clip is screwed to the back of the blade to secure the knife to your belt. The pocket clip is adjustable to two positions (left and right).
