Alessi Plissé 1L double-wall insulated water decanter designed by Michele De Lucchi

The Alessi Plissé decanter is a functional design accessory that fits in with any decorating style. It was designed by the great Italian architect Michele De Lucchi.

Michele De Lucchi is renowned in Italy for his architectural work and has been at the forefront of the international scene since the 1980s. An intelligent blend of pure architecture and object design, De Lucchi likes to mix fields of activity. In fact, he also holds a position as a brand image researcher and conducts a great deal of academic research.

The Plissé collection is a reminder of haute couture and the designers who adorn their garments with refined drapery. The items in the series all feature pretty pleats that give them a very chic shape. As Michele De Lucchi himself says, "a form without pleats is just volume without form".

De Lucchi skilfully plays with the contemporary and the classic in his Plissé series. The contrasting results leave a lasting impression. The decanter offers a skilful blend of haute couture elegance, timelessness and technicality.

The decanter is made from high-quality thermoplastic resin. It's an odorless material that won't give your drinks any taste. Perfectly healthy, the resin is guaranteed free from Bisphenol A.

It also features a double-walled thermal glass interior to help maintain the right temperature for your beverages. With its 1L capacity, the decanter is an essential accessory to place on the dining table every day.

A protective lid closes the carafe to prevent impurities from falling into the drink. So you can enjoy your water or other fruit juices with complete peace of mind. A wide, ergonomic handle makes it easy to grip the lightweight carafe.

The carafe also features a pouring spout for safe serving of the drink, without the risk of spilling its contents on your table. To match your decor, the decanter is available in white or black.
