A good EDC knife needs to perform well, yet be easy to carry. Your Benchmade Arcane knife features a CPM-S90V stainless steel blade hardened to 59-61HRC. As a result, it boasts high strength and exceptional edge retention. CPM-S90V is a premium American-made steel with a uniform microstructure that offers substantial improvements over other steels manufactured in the USA. These include improved corrosion and wear resistance.
The aluminum handle offers the strongest function with the least weight. What's more, it has been anodized black, which has the added benefit of prolonging the knife's service life.
The Arcane 490 knife opens easily with a single hand via the dorsal flipper. The handle incorporates AXIS® Assist technology, a spring-loaded system that helps pull the blade open once the user has manually pushed it beyond a certain point. As a result, opening convenience is guaranteed. The AXIS lock also offers the added benefit of"suck-back", which encourages the blade to remain in the closed position.
The Benchmade Arcane 490 knife is easy to carry in any situation, thanks to the pocket clip on its back.
