The Benchmade Socp Tactical Folder 391SBK is a large, incredibly slim pocket knife that weighs next to nothing. Its design is clearly inspired by the famous fixed knives and Rescue Cutters in the Benchmade SOCP collection: just as elongated in terms of shape, and just as well thought-out in terms of ergonomics. And just like those fixed knives, this model was designed by Greg Thompson. He designed the Socp Tactical Folder 391SBK to serve as a folding companion to his fixed versions. By adding subtle dimples to the handle in targeted places, Thompson has ensured that the knife is easy to maneuver. This is also how the position and design of the pocket clip were defined.
Premium materials
In terms of materials, Benchmade has upgraded the Socp 391SBK with a semi-serrated D2 steel blade. This metal alloy is very hard and retains its edge over time. However, care must be taken with acids and salt: D2 is not totally rustproof. The spear point profile of the blade gives the knife greater precision and strength.
The handle of the Benchmade 391 is made of CF-Elite®, a carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer. It's incredibly strong and lightweight. At its tip, you'll find a glass breaker that will be of great help in an emergency.
State-of-the-art technology
The SOCP rescue knife is easily unfolded via thethumb stud on the blade. The ambidextrous, gentle Axis Lock mechanism holds the knife firmly in position for safe use.
Designed for long-term use, the Benchmade Socp Tactical Folder 391SBK folding knife is also suitable for first-aiders and other demanding professions.
