Description

The Benchmade Bugout is designed for the modern-day adventurer. Following strong customer demand, the original Bugout is now available in a mini version. The series incorporates the same premium materials. However, this model now features a considerably reduced size and weight. The model is, in fact, small enough to be stored in a can and big enough for adventure. It's perfect for preparing a meal, opening a parcel, or gathering wood shavings in the wild.

Premium materials

The Benchmade mini Bugout 533 folding knife features a blade with a very fine edge. It can easily peel an apple. The blade is made fromCPM-S30V stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60HRC. This metal alloy is one of the few types of steel designed specifically for knife making. It retains its sharpness and remains easy to sharpen.

In contrast, you'll find a handle made of grivory. This is a lightweight polymer that is very strong for its weight. Its non-slip texture greatly improves grip during use.

Modern technologies

The Benchmade Mini Bugout 533 pocket knife opens smoothly thanks to thethumb stud on the blade. The working position is then maintained by the sturdy, fully ambidextrous Axis Lock mechanism. All you have to do to unlock the knife is pull the thumb stud downwards. Normally, this system incorporates a steel latch. However, to save weight, Benchmade has swapped it for a titanium variant, which is slightly lighter.

The knife also features a shorter pocket clip than other models, again with the aim of reducing weight. There's also a lanyard hole at the base of the handle for more carrying options.
