To celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of Benchmade's most iconic designs, the Osborne 940 family is expanding. The long-awaited mini versions are now available. The Mini Osborne 945 retains the same unique styling as the 940, but with a considerably lighter profile. It's also a little shorter, making it even easier to carry. It will fit comfortably in your pocket or bag. It's the ultimate EDC pocket knife.
A smaller design, but still with premium materials
The Mini Osborne 945 features a sharp bladewith an inverted tanto shape made from CPM-S30V. This metal alloy is one of the few steels used exclusively for knife design. It is renowned for its ease of sharpening, as well as for its excellent edge retention. Quite simply, it's a good choice from the American brand.
In contrast, you'll find a green-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle with purple-anodized backspacers. This contrast makes the Mini Osborne a little playful. It also provides an extra layer of protection that extends the life of the knife. The front of the handle features a stainless steel liner for added strength. Thanks to its compact design, you'll have a solid grip, facilitating prolonged use.
Ingenious, easy-to-use mechanisms
The Benchmade 945 pocket knife opens quickly via the double thumb stud. This is located on the blade. Asturdy Axis Lock mechanism locks the blade to keep your fingers safe. Axis Lock is equally convenient for left- and right-handed users. Simply pull the button on the axle downwards to unlock the knife.
Combined with the reversible pocket clip, the Benchmade 945 knife is a true everyday companion.
