The Benchmade 273FE-2 Mini Adamas is a sturdy pocket knife designed for everyday use. It's as strong, if not stronger, than the original Adamas despite its reduced size. Although smaller than the original Adamas, with an 8.3cm blade, it can by no means be described as a small pocket knife. Its strength is comparable to, if not slightly superior to, that of its predecessor.
The Benchmade Mini Adamas folding knife is made in the USA from top-quality materials. It features a blade made from CPM-CRUWEAR, a very hard steel that holds its edge well over time, even in tough conditions of use. Benchmade has hardened it to 63-65HRC for even better edge retention. Thanks to its high hardness and fine structure, you won't need to sharpen it frequently. However, CruWear is not totally rust-resistant. Fortunately, a protective coating has been applied to protect the blade from the elements. However, it is essential to keep it clean and dry.
The Benchmade Mini Adamas EDC knife opens via the thumb lug and features a sturdy Axis Lock, suitable for both left- and right-handed users. The Axis Lock was introduced in 1998 with the Benchmade 710. This mechanism securely locks the blade between two support points. To unlock it, simply move the spring-loaded paddle on the sides of the handle. Benchmade mainly uses it, but other brands have also adopted it. The system is easy to use and safe.
The Benchmade Adamas khaki Mini inspires confidence as soon as you pick it up. It's comfortable to hold and gives an impression of power and solidity.
The reversible pocket clip and lanyard hole at the base of the handle make carrying the knife easy and accessible.
