The Taggedout pocket knife is a knife for hunters and outdoor adventurers. It is lightweight, reliable, robust and suitable for almost any task, making it the perfect companion for use in the wilderness. The blade is sharpened with Benchmade 's SelectEdge technology at an angle of 14°. Its cutting capacity is comparable to that of a razor blade.
Benchmade Taggedout premium materials
Inspired by the popular Bugout, the Taggedout 15535OR-01 is the very first Benchmade folding knife to feature a CPM-MagnaCut steel blade. This steel is obtained by removing chromium carbides from the steel's microstructure.
It's important to note that CPM MagnaCut steel is manufactured using the powder metallurgy process (CPM). This involves melting and remelting metal powder to obtain a fine, uniform metallurgical structure. This helps to improve its overall properties. You'll also notice that the blade features a high-visibility bright orange color. This will prevent you from misplacing the knife in the wild.
The handle, meanwhile, is made of carbon fiber, obtained from fine carbon filaments tightly woven together and then placed in resin. The result is an extremely strong yet lightweight material. What's more, the grip is very pleasant.
Ergonomic use, at the cutting edge of Benchmade technology
Taggedout 15535OR-01 features the Axis Lock locking mechanism, renowned for its solidity. This system was introduced in 1998 with the Benchmade 710. Locking is automatic, while unlocking is simple. All you have to do is pull the button on the shaft of the handle, making it suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.
Opening the Benchmade Taggedout 15535OR-01 pocket knife is very smooth thanks to the thumb hole. Simply push the blade through the hole with your thumb, and you're ready to go!
To simplify transportation, the knife comes with a reversible pocket clip. What's more, you can add a lanyard to the base of the knife thanks to the dedicated hole in the handle base.
