Certain essential attributes have been retained, notably its original silhouette and the marine anchor visible on the central axis, in a fitting tribute to this mythical Breton sailor's knife.
With a view to modernizing the knife, Claude Dozorme has equipped his Liner London model with Liner Lock lock technology to give it a streamlined design and make it as functional and secure as possible. Once opened, the spring-loaded lock automatically locks the blade. A simple press on the lock then unlocks the blade and closes it again.
The blade is made of X50CrMov15 stainless steel, a high-quality European alloy that gives the blade a brilliant, razor-sharp edge. Its hardness of 56-57 HRC on the Rockwell scale ensures good edge retention and easy stone sharpening.
The handle is made of carbon fiber, a material that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also highly resistant. In fact, the fine carbon filaments are tightly woven and then embedded in resin, a polymer-reinforced carbon fiber. Last but not least, there's a knotted cord at the end of the handle.
