The board is made from natural rubberwood, using the "bois de bout" method (cut perpendicular to the wood fiber). This reinforces resistance to cracking: in fact, the impacts of cutting will be applied in the direction of the fiber.

A wood balsam is applied to the surface of the board to protect it from moisture, bacteria, discoloration and cracking.

Care: we recommend washing the board with a damp cloth, then wiping it dry immediately afterwards. It's important not to let it soak in your sink, to prevent the wood from absorbing water and warping.
