The Parang knife sets new standards. Whether as an outdoor, survival, bushcraft or camping knife. Its distinctive design is directly inspired by the Southeast Asian parang, also known as the Asian machete. The Fox Parang bushcraft features the same characteristics as this machete. However, it is available in a more manageable and much more portable format.
Thanks to its wide, forward-balanced Austrian N690Co steel blade, it offers excellent chopping properties. The type of steel used is corrosion-resistant and remains easy to sharpen. The Parang can even be used to work game, thanks to its raised blade tip. What's more, it has a black Cerakote water-repellent coating that allows it to glide more easily through the material when cutting.
The Forprene handle has also been approved. In fact, it offers a rubbery grip that generates a feeling of comfort and exceptional ergonomics. The placement of the digital grooves on the handle clearly indicates how to hold the knife.
The Fox Parang Bushcraft knife comes with a MOLLE-compatible Cordura belt sheath. It also comes with a mini survival kit. This includes a sewing set, a small razor and a wire saw. The kit is presented in an aluminum box and stored in a nylon case.
