A folding knife that combines elegance and tradition
The French folding knife Le Fidèle L’Âme d’Emma, crafted from juniper wood, embodies the cutlery craftsmanship of the Thiers region. Both elegant and functional, it combines Sandvik 12C27 steel with a fine wood that has a natural look, offering both performance and aesthetic appeal. Its name pays homage to Emma, the daughter of Thomas and Pauline Boitel (the artisan who manages the company), and can be read either way—an original touch that adds to its unique character. Lightweight, refined, and built to last, it will quickly become an indispensable companion.
A precise and versatile plank
The 8.9 cm blade of the L'Âme d'Emma pocket knife is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and maintaining a long-lasting edge, with a hardness of approximately 57 HRC. This alloy is renowned for its purity and reliability, while remaining easy to sharpen.
The Drop Point profile provides optimal control during precise cuts, while reinforcing the strength of the tip. Ideal for versatile use, this Le Fidèle folding knife is equally suited for food preparation, everyday tasks, and outdoor activities. Each blade is meticulously polished for a sharp edge and a flawless finish.
An authentic and refined handle
The knife’s handle measures 9.5 cm; it is crafted fromjuniper wood and offers a warm, comfortable grip. Each piece of wood features a unique grain pattern and emits a natural fragrance characteristic of this Mediterranean wood species. Its density and durability make it particularly well-suited for heavy-duty use.
The full tang construction and the knife’s forced-lock mechanism ensure stability and safety with every use, while the hand-finished construction guarantees a perfect fit between the blade and the handle.
