The Kai swivel block is an optimized, designer solution for storing your favorite kitchen knives! You'll keep them within easy reach, with an added touch of style that's sure to delight all users.
The block is formed from walnut wood, a beautiful, deep, dark species with unique veins. The inside of the mounting surface has been magnetized, allowing you to place knives right on the wood, on both sides. This means you can fit between 6 and 8 blades, depending on their size.
The magnetic system is highly functional, since the knives can be placed and gripped in no time at all. In fact, there's no need to insert the blades into predefined slots: they rest directly on the surface of the block thanks to the magnet's power of attraction.
The wooden part is held in place by a stainless steel rod, which takes root in a thick granite base. The thickness of this material and its density mean that the whole piece is very stable on your worktop or table (flat surface).
The special feature of this block is that it pivots. The wooden part rotates 360°, making it even easier to grip knives!
In terms of style, the blend of granite and wood creates a most pleasing harmony that will suit any kitchen. In fact, it's the perfect blend of contemporary and authentic, thanks to its colors and shapes. It will even become a decorative accessory on your worktop, allowing you to place your knives without compromising on style!
