The blade's hardness, rated at 57-58 HRC, ensures both excellent cutting performance and ease of daily maintenance.

In addition, the design of the blade with a rounded tip is a key feature for child safety. This shape guarantees safe use, allowing young users to discover the practicality of having a folding knife. It is nevertheless advisable to supervise children when using this knife to ensure safe and responsible use.

Innovation and ergonomics

This folding knife for children is equipped with the Virobloc® safety ring, an exclusive Opinel innovation. This ferrule rotates to lock the blade in the open or closed position, offering additional safety. In the open position, it prevents accidental blade closure. In the closed position, it prevents accidental opening of the blade, making knife use even safer.

The handle, made of hornbeam wood, is designed to fit children's hands perfectly. Measuring 10cm, it offers a comfortable and secure grip for small hands.
