Specially designed to meet the needs of DIY enthusiasts, the Opinel Bricolage N°09 pocket knife stands out for its ingenious design and performance.
This Opinel n°09 Bricolage pocket knife is characterized above all by its robust 8 cm stainless steel blade. This material was chosen for its superior corrosion resistance and outstanding mechanical qualities. With its remarkable sharpness and high abrasion resistance, this blade is ideal for cutting hard materials, while retaining its sharpness for a long time. Finally, one of the main advantages of this knife is its low-maintenance stainless steel.
The Bricolage n°09 knife is packed with practical DIY features. It features a wire cutter for diameters up to 5mm and a wire stripper for diameters up to 8mm. Its handle incorporates standard screwdriver bits - including a flat one for 4mm screws and a cruciform one for 3.5 to 5mm screws - as well as a magnetic bit holder located at its end for convenient use.
The handle is made of yellow glass-fibre reinforced polyamide. This material is highly appreciated for its remarkable resistance to impact and water. In addition, its ergonomic design ensures a pleasant grip, even during long periods of use.
The n°09 Bricolage is equipped with the Virobloc safety ring. This device, invented by Opinel in 1955, consists of two stainless steel parts. It locks the blade in the open position for safe use, and locks it in the closed position for safe transportation.
