Take to the skies with the Opinel Néo7 Alpine black-brown knife!
Designed in collaboration with the Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme de Chamonix, it's the perfect companion for mountain enthusiasts on all their adventures. Climbing, mountaineering, ski touring or ice climbing: this French pocket knife is discreet in the pocket, and fearsomely effective when you need it. Light as a feather, reliable as a rope companion, it won't let you down on the summit.
Weighing just 41g, this folding knife is easy to slip into a jacket pocket or hang from a harness. Its 8cm serrated stainless-steel blade provides a biting cut on ropes, webbing or technical materials, while resisting corrosion and humidity very well.
The knife incorporates several clever features:
The 9.7cm handle combines 30% fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene with an overmolded cork zone. Its black-brown color evokes the rock faces and dark cork of high-altitude refuges, with a sober, authentic mineral look.
After each outing, carefully wipe the blade and handle to remove any moisture or residue. Even though stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, regular cleaning will preserve its legendary sharpness. Occasional sharpening will maintain an efficient cut, ready to bite into the rope at the right moment.
Opinel has been making simple, robust and ingenious knives in France for over 130 years. Rooted in the heart of the Alps, the Savoyard brand develops durable tools inspired by the mountains and designed to accompany all everyday adventures.
