Description

Innovation in the Seki Magoroku series with the new Composite range. Created from an aeronautical design model, Seki Magoroku Composite knives are at the cutting edge of technology.

Composite knives are the result of an alliance between Japanese tradition and aeronautical technology.

The Santoku Seki Magoroku Composite knife boasts extreme precision and stability thanks to this aeronautics-based technology.

The blade of this Composite knife is made from two different types of high-grade steel: the back of the blade is satin-finished in VG-10 steel, and the cutting edge of the blade - in the shape of a wave - is made from SUS420J2 steel. This steel combination achieves a Rockwell hardness of 61±HRC.

These two types of steel are joined using a brazing technique that reveals a fine line of copper.

The handle offers a light grip thanks to its light Japanese material: light pakka wood(Japanese material).

KAI knives and accessories are well known in Japan. KAI was founded in Seki in 1908. Now, with over 100 years of tradition behind them, KAI kitchen knives have created a unique identity for themselves and are renowned the world over.
