Bérard handmade olive wood bread basket 35cm

Established in the Royans mountains since 1892, the Bérard brand designs skis and heels for shoes before specializing in wooden kitchen products. Its workshops are located throughout the Mediterranean basin, to be closer to the trees. Thanks to these natural materials and the privilege of handcrafting, Bérard items are not just kitchen accessories, but genuine decorative objects. They're sure to become the most elegant and widely-used tools in your kitchen.

With this Bérard basket, you'll be able to present your slices of bread in an original way. Its contours perfectly match those of a baguette. Entirely handcrafted from olive wood, it will last a lifetime. The wood's unique veins, characteristic of the olive tree, give a very chic visual effect.

Variations in grain give each piece a singular appearance, so that each item is unique. What's more, the high density of olive wood prevents it from absorbingfood odors.

The use of wood invites the beauty of nature into your home. And it's proven to be a more hygienic material for storing food.

Care: For best results, wash by hand with a mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Avoid the dishwasher to preserve the full quality of the wood. A light application of olive oil or beeswax will restore its original lustre.
