Description

A hunting knife revisited as an everyday knife

In response to strong demand from Benchmade customers, the Taggedout folding knife has been carefully redesigned to become a versatile EDC (Everyday Carry) knife for everyday use. This new version of the Taggedout features several modifications, including the replacement of the thumb hole with a bright orange anodized thumb lug, as well as an anodized rear spacer in the same color. In addition, the Grivory handle has been swapped for a green G10 version. This new Taggedout is ready to take on all the challenges of your daily adventures.

This Benchmade 15536 folding knife features a CPM-S45VN steel blade, a metal alloy with better cutting edge retention and corrosion resistance than CPM-S30V and CPM-S90V. However, it maintains a good balance in terms of performance. As for the handle, it is made of G10, which is pleasant to handle. G10 is a material made from glass fibers impregnated with resin, then hardened by a curing process. The result is a robust, lightweight material of exceptional strength.

Ingenious, intuitive mechanisms

Opening the Benchmade Taggedout 15536 pocket knife is smooth and easy, thanks to thethumb stud. The blade is locked by the Axis Lock mechanism, renowned for its robustness. This system was introduced in 1998 with the Benchmade 710. It offers automatic locking and very simple unlocking by simply pulling the button on the shaft located on the handle, making it suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. Despite the popularity of the Liner Lock, the Axis Lock remains the safest and most reliable locking system. Although other manufacturers have developed their own versions, the Axis Lock was originally created by Benchmade and is mainly used on their knives.

To simplify transportation, the knife is equipped with a reversible pocket clip, enabling you to attach it to your trouser or jacket pocket. The clip is shorter than normal, helping to reduce the knife's overall weight by using less steel. What's more, you can attach a lanyard to the base of the knife through a hole in the handle.
