Bérard was founded in 1892 by woodworking enthusiast Marius Bérard in Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, France. In 1920, Mariusons founded Bérard Frères, which evolved into a company manufacturing basic necessities and Utensils. Later, Berard was taken over by Marius's grandsons and became a company that managed both theUtensils and ski manufacturing businesses. It wasn't until the 1970s that the family business began to specialize solely in Utensils.
Impress your guests with the unique beauty and elegant form of this handcrafted cutting board. It's made in France from a single piece of the finest olive wood, which means no two are the same. Indeed, since wood is a living material, it has unique grain patterns and coloring. The board is 5 cm thick and has been designed to hold the grain longer. It has been treated with a protective antibacterial wax coating.
This model comes from the Millenari collection, whereolive meets concrete. Indeed, this Bérard board is bi-material and the series to which it belongs brings technicality to the kitchen. The use of reinforced concrete offers greater stability and excellent hold during culinary gestures. For this collection, design studio La Racine pays homage to the hand and the material.
The Millenari cutting board is available in 2 colors: chalk white or anthracite gray.
Care: Hand-wash only. To preserve the quality of the wood, coat regularly with maintenance oil or culinary wax.
