Fukito kitchen block in FSC-certified beech wood - 45 x 30 x 4 cm

The Fukito kitchen block is made from beech. This wood comes from FSC-certified forests in Slovenia. This international label certifies that the wood used in the design of utensils and other products complies with sustainable forest management procedures. In addition to its environmentally-friendly production, beech wood offers a number of other advantages.

First of all, it's a hard wood that's built to last. Its resistance to moisture is also appreciated. Finally, it is not prone to cracking. Technical aspects aside, beech's timeless style, with its light veins, makes it suitable for all kitchens.

The brand logo has been laser-engraved directly onto the cut surface, for added authenticity.

The log's dimensions allow you to vary the cuts you make. It can be used for everyday cuts as well as for more exceptional pieces, such as when entertaining (game, large pieces of meat or fish...). Its thickness makes it more resistant to blows (e.g. with a cleaver to slice a large piece of meat).

To best care for your log, wash it under lukewarm water, without soaking it in advance. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent, then wipe it clean before air-drying it completely to avoid leaving it damp.

Note that the log has been oiled before shipment, to protect it during transport. When you receive it, just wash it before first use and you're ready to go.
