Claude Dozorme has designed a collection of 4 pocket knives dedicated to French tradition, and more specifically to the four routes leading to the famous village of St Jacques de Compostelle.
Each of these folding knives has a different route engraved on the inside of the blade. Engraved on the back of the blade is the voie d'Arles, one of the 4 routes taken by pilgrims on their way to the village of St Jacques de Compostelle.
The blade is made of X50CrMoV15 steel, a quality alloy that gives the blade an efficient cutting edge, good edge retention and easy sharpening.
The handle is made of olive wood, a noble yet resistant species that lends a certain elegance to this authentic pocket knife. The curved shape at the end of the handle, called"Capucin", refers to the silhouette of a monk whose face is hidden by a hood.
Last but not least, this knife comes with a handy accessory: a key for tightening the pin that secures the blade to the handle. So you can avoid the inconvenience of an unstable blade.
