Description

A diamond whetstone that restores sharpness

The DMT brand has been in existence for over 40 years in the USA, offering high-quality products that last! Made in the USA, this whetstone is the perfect example.

This DMT whetstone is made of steel with a highly abrasive, diamond-coated surface. This design enables a small amount of material to be removed quickly, making it highly effective.

The stone is made of sturdy steel on which numerous diamond particles are dispersed in small dots. This distribution favors the flow of water and residual material, while ensuring that the particles remain firmly bonded to the stone. What's more, this stone is practical because you can use it with water or dry, as you prefer.

With its median to fine 1200 grit, this whetstone can be used for many purposes. It is suitable for sharpening blades with low Rockwell hardness (HRC), at the end of sharpening. It can also be used at the start of sharpening knives with a higher Rockwell hardness.

A DMT whetstone for your kitchen knives

This DMT stone is fitted with non-slip rubber feet, ensuring optimum stability during sharpening. This means you can sharpen with confidence, without the risk of unwanted slipping.

It's important to note that to fully exploit the benefits of this stone, a running-in period is required. Optimum efficiency will be achieved after sharpening around 5 knives. This versatile stone can also be used to sharpen other cutting tools such as chisels.

The practical size of this stone makes it suitable for a wide variety of knives! To use, tilt your knife at an angle of 10° to 30° and apply light pressure, moving the blade back and forth over the stone. Repeat the same operation on the other side of the blade until you achieve the desired result.

Ces pierres pourrait bien changer votre vie !
language rating 10
