Based in the Italian town of Maniago, Fox production imports its steel from Austria (a neighboring country only a few kilometers away). Producing outdoor knives in collaboration with leading designers, each knife has its own personality and look. Fox's Pro hunter knife is therefore one of a kind.
The blade is made of N690Co steel, an Austrian alloy with properties similar to VG10 steel. Highly resistant, the Pro hunter knife has a strength of 58-60HRC on the Rockwell scale. The robust steel will resist corrosion, shocks and temperature variations. Its cutting edge will last a long time(provided you take good care of it) and won't need daily re-sharpening. With its 9.5cm blade, you'll be able to carve game, chop wood or use it in any other way you like during outdoor outings with friends*! Our hunting friends are sure to appreciate the cutting quality of such a blade.
With its rosewood handle, you don't have to worry about the authenticity of such a knife. The 12cm handle is perfect to hold, with an indentation for your index finger and ridges to prevent the knife from slipping out of your hand when cutting. Place a small cord in the hole provided to prevent it from falling out during use.
Opening is easy for both right- and left-handed users: you'll notice a double lug on either side of the blade. The blade is then locked by the frame-lock system. Thanks to the innovative L.A.W.K.S safety device, the blade won't bend even if you use all your strength! To activate the safety, simply slide the button on the knife. Slice with peace of mind, then store the knife just as simply. A leather sheath is supplied with the hunting knife. As explained in the video presentation, you can store the blade in the open position, ready for any situation, or in the closed position.
You'll never again be able to complain that your knife doesn't cut with the Fox FX-130 Pro Hunter knife!
