This 21cm carving knife is a must-have for professional butchers! It was designed in Winnenden, Germany, by professional knife specialist Giesser.
Made from stainless steel enriched with chromium and molybdenum, the blade is corrosion-resistant. To improve cutting performance, the blade is vacuum-hardened using an ultra-modern process. It is then mirror-polished to make it perfectly smooth, which has the advantage of preventing any incrustation of rust and bacteria on its surface, and therefore greatly facilitates cleaning.
To maintain the cutting edge, use a fine or extra-fine Sharpening steel and sharpen the blade before each use to avoid losing the edge! When the blade becomes dull, use a more abrasive sharpener, such as Sharpening steel diamond or Sharpening stone.
The knife is available with a black or yellow handle. The color is practical if you need to differentiate your knife from those of your colleagues to avoid cross-contamination. It is made of hard rubber-like synthetic material for comfort even in intensive use. The developed guard will protect your fingers! This knife is manufactured to comply with food hygiene standards (HACCP).
The blade is sharpened with a grinding wheel, then the final sharpening is done by hand by a master sharpener for optimum results.
