The blade is made of steel enriched with chromium and molybdenum, an advantage in the fight against corrosion. To improve cutting performance, the blade is vacuum-hardened using an ultra-modern process. It is mirror-polished, making it perfectly smooth to prevent rust and bacteria from encrusting its surface, and thus greatly facilitating cleaning.
Sharpening is an important part of the process: each blade is passed through a grinding wheel, then a master sharpener finishes the knife by hand, for an effective finish.
