This sharpening set allows you to refine the initial sharpening result achieved with the diamond sharpening surface.
This sharpening set contains the following items:
- 1 corundum stone , fine grain size 3000, blue color: it can be used as a first step in sharpening hard blades (such as carbon blades) to obtain a good, long-lasting cutting edge. It can also be used as a finishing touch for blades of lesser hardness, to give them a sharper edge.
- 1 corundum stone with very fine 6000 white grains: its fine grains refine the edge, giving it a razor-sharp edge for precision sharpening.
- 1 vegetable-tanned cowhide sharpening leather: after using the corundum stones, wipe your blade on the razor leather to obtain a polished blade with a perfect finish.
Both corundum sharpening stones can be used without water, and to insert them into your Horl sharpener, simply screw them in.
They are compatible with all Horl 2 sharpeners: Horl 2 and Horl 2 Pro except Horl 2 Cruise, whose surfaces are not interchangeable.
