How do I sharpen my HORL® professional scissors?

The German brand has thought of making scissors sharpenable with a HORL® sharpener to make them easier to care for. Here's how to do it:

1) Separate the two blades of the pair of scissors and take the upper part (the blade with the 3 fir trees logo).

2) Place the blade on its handle, whose 45° angle allows it to stand upright.

3) Use the ceramic honing disc on your HORL® sharpener, positioning it in front of the blade.

4) Sharpen by going back and forth over the blade. 5 back-and-forth strokes are enough to sharpen the blade under normal use and maintenance. The heel of the blade forms a small hollow V, indicating the maximum sharpening point.

5) Put the two blades back together, using an empty cutting motion to prepare the 1st blade.

6) Repeat the process for the 2nd blade.
