Opinel knife N°08 Horizon mustard & black

The Opinel N°08 Horizon mustard & black knife is the perfect companion for outdoor enthusiasts on all their adventures!

Weighing in at a featherweight 63g, it's easy to slip into your pocket and still be ready for any mission. Its vibrant mustard look combined with a black blade gives it a sporty style that's not lacking in bite.

A sturdy companion

This folding knife is equipped with a smooth 8cm stainless steel blade. It offers efficient cutting for preparing a meal, trimming a rope or tinkering at camp. Stainless steel naturally resists corrosion, while the black PVD treatment applied to the blade and ferrule further enhances its protection against moisture. The black finish also reduces glare, a welcome feature in bright sunshine.

The mustard-colored handle is made of 30% glass-fiber reinforced polyamide, a material resistant to water and extreme temperatures.

• The Virobloc system locks the blade in both open and closed positions
• The 110dB whistle signals your position from a distance, with a range of 300m in open areas
• The lanyard loop lets you attach the knife to a bag, carabiner or neck strap

Recommendations for use

After each use, rinse and dry the blade thoroughly if it has been exposed to water or mud. The Virobloc mechanism must be kept clean to work perfectly. A light film of oil on the axle may improve opening smoothness.
