An Ideal Sabatier knife that lives up to its name...The Ideal Inox Sabatier knife is a concentrate of efficiency. The choice of materials and the manufacturing processes used to produce it explain why Sabatier is so well known in France today. This manufacturer with centuries of experience is working on a series of ergonomic, high-performance kitchen knives. The basis of an Ideal knife is a solid bar of steel, which is then heated and pressed into shape. The knife is thus made in one piece, and there are no welds between the different parts. The whole is denser and stronger! What's more, the steel used is chosen to achieve the ideal ratio of edge life to sharpness. The Ideal knife is therefore advantageous in terms of use (your cuts are easy and clean), but also in terms of long-term maintenance (a quick stroke with the sharpening gun and you're done). The handle is pleasant to hold, in durable black POM (often used in the kitchen). The 3 rivets that run through it enclose the continuity of the blade with the plastic material.
The Ideal 100% forged knife is quite simply a cutlery timeless. The slightly rounded bolster, the black handle, the emblematic rivets...everything works in this knife. With no unnecessary frills, it's classic and sober, to suit all cooks. Note that the Ideal Sabatier brass range is also available, to add a touch of originality to the rivets.
