A standard-sharpening Sharpening steel is recommended for sharpening blades that are a little tired, but have not completely lost their edge. Ideal for everyday use.
The Ideal 100% forged stainless steel series will appeal to the most meticulous of cooks!
The round wick is made of high-quality stainless steel, ensuring sturdiness and resistance to corrosion. It is forged, i.e. fashioned from a single piece of steel. The steel is shaped using high heat and a press to give it its final form. This process requires unique know-how, and promises a Sharpening steel with a perfect finish. This can be verified by weighing the Sharpening steel, which will be heavier, fuller and therefore more comfortable to hold.
The handle is made of deep black POM (a solid polymer used in the design of kitchen utensils thanks to its appreciable characteristics). It provides ideal ergonomics and long-lasting strength. This strength is enhanced by the 3 stainless steel rivets running through the handle, which ensure a pleasant balance for the whole gun.
So, French know-how in cutlery is reflected in the properties of this Sharpening steel, and by extension, of this range: efficiency, sturdiness, elegance... Ideal as a gift for loved ones, or as a nice present for yourself, whether you're a pro or not!
